Project Overview

Turning a manufacturing story into a digital experience

With over three decades in the industry, Shivam Jewels operates across the full lifecycle of a diamond—sourcing rough stones, processing and refining them, and exporting finished diamonds to markets across the USA, Hong Kong, China, Israel, and beyond. The company blends modern techniques with long-standing craft traditions, working across a wide range of shapes, sizes, and qualities with a strong focus on precision and quality control.
Yet, when it came to their digital presence, the category felt crowded with sameness. The client’s instinct was clear: if every brand sounds identical, none of them are remembered.

The opportunity was not to build a better version of the same site—but to change the conversation entirely.

Challenge

Breaking away from a category that speaks in specifications.

Most B2B diamond manufacturer’s websites spoke in the same language, leaned on the same visual cues, and told the same story—cut, clarity, colour, repeated in different arrangements. In an industry where differentiation is often reduced to technical parameters, Shivam wanted to be seen not just as a supplier, but as a leader with a point of view. The challenge was to move beyond the standard B2B template and find a narrative that could express the depth of their work, their scale, and their process, without falling back on familiar industry shorthand. The website needed to do more than list capabilities. It had to tell a story only Shivam could tell.

Approach

Letting the product define the narrative

Instead of starting with features or credentials, we started with the stone itself. We immersed ourselves in the ‘journey of a diamond, from its origins in the earth, through sorting, cutting, shaping, and finishing, to the final polished form that enters the market.

This journey became the conceptual backbone of the experience. The website was designed as a scroll-driven, cinematic narrative, revealing each stage step by step, and using motion, pacing, and interaction to mirror the transformation process. The focus shifted from selling specifications to showing craft, scale, and precision in action.

Every interaction was built to reward attention to detail, creating a digital experience that feels closer to observing a process than browsing a catalogue.

Execution

A new benchmark for a B2B category

Wings designed and built the entire digital experience, combining immersive storytelling, 3D elements, and detail-first interactions into a cohesive system. The result breaks away from the usual static, information-heavy B2B format and replaces it with an experience that unfolds gradually, guiding the viewer through Shivam’s world with intent and clarity. Rather than speaking about quality, the site demonstrates it – through structure, motion, and the care taken in how each part of the story is revealed.

Outcome

Positioning leadership through experience, not claims

The finished platform set a new standard for how a diamond manufacturer can present itself digitally, both within the category and beyond it. It helped Shivam move away from commodity language and towards a position of leadership, defined by perspective, process, and confidence in craft. More than a website, the project became a statement: that even in a specification-driven industry, story, experience, and point of view can redefine how a brand is perceived, commercially and culturally.

“Wings didn’t just redesign our website; they reshaped how global buyers perceive us. Their team deeply understood our business and delivered a platform that’s both elegant and effective. We’ve seen stronger engagement, better feedback from partners, and now have a digital presence that truly reflects who we are.”

– Shivam Jewels

“Redesigning Shivam Jewels’ digital presence was a deep learning curve. We explored how to distill decades of trust and craftsmanship into a seamless, modern experience.

It taught us to strike the right balance between legacy and innovation; sharpening our B2B storytelling and design thinking in the process.”
