Project Overview
A new product in a category shaped by old assumptions
For decades, home power backup has looked the same. Bulky batteries placed in corners, utility rooms, or outside the house. Safety concerns and outdated product design reinforced this behaviour. Enzolt’s lithium battery offered a fundamentally different approach. Smaller, cleaner, and safer, it was designed to sit naturally within everyday living spaces. The challenge was communicating this difference clearly to users encountering the idea for the first time.

Helping people rethink what a battery can be
Most consumers are unfamiliar with lithium inverter batteries. They associate batteries with maintenance, heat, and safety risks. Introducing a new product in this category required more than product promotion. The website needed to educate users, address concerns, and demonstrate practical advantages while maintaining a sense of simplicity and clarity.
Approach
Turning a product website into a narrative experience
Rather than designing a conventional catalogue-style e-commerce site, we approached the project as a single-product storytelling platform. The experience was built around real-life scenarios and everyday problems that power backup solves. Through carefully structured content and visual storytelling, the website gradually introduces the product, explains its advantages, and shows how it integrates into modern homes.
This approach allowed users to move naturally from curiosity to understanding without overwhelming them with technical information.
Experience Design
Designing the product experience for an e-commerce platform
The Enzolt battery has a distinctive design language — compact, minimal, and portable. The digital experience follows the same clarity and restraint, keeping the product at the center of the interface.
Layouts guide attention while supporting the narrative around the product’s applications. Visual mockups place the battery within modern living environments, showing how the product integrates naturally into everyday spaces.
The project began with defining the information architecture and sitemap to structure the product story. Content frameworks, user flows, and wireframes followed before moving into interface design and page layouts.
Product mockups and contextual visuals demonstrate real-world applications and reinforce the product’s positioning. The result is a focused browsing experience that simplifies a technically complex category. The final website was built on Shopify as a single-product e-commerce platform.

The completed platform presents Enzolt not as a traditional battery manufacturer but as a brand introducing a smarter way to think about home energy backup.
By combining product education, visual storytelling, and a focused e-commerce experience, the website helps users quickly understand the value of lithium power backup and confidently adopt a new category of technology.
