Project Overview
Introducing a new AI robotics player from India
Perceptyne is a robotics company building AI-driven industrial robots designed to automate complex manual tasks in manufacturing environments. Developed from Hyderabad, the company represents a growing wave of deep-tech innovation emerging from India.
At the time of the project, Perceptyne had developed its first robotic systems and was preparing to introduce them to the global market. The website would become the company’s primary platform to communicate its technology, vision, and credibility to international audiences.
Challenge
Building trust for a new deep-tech brand in a global market
For emerging technology companies, especially from developing markets, perception often becomes a challenge. Many global audiences approach new players with skepticism, expecting imitation rather than innovation.
The digital platform therefore had to do more than present products. It needed to communicate technical depth, maturity, and confidence, positioning Perceptyne as a serious robotics innovator rather than just another startup. At the same time, robotics often carries a perception of threat or complexity. The narrative had to present the technology as human-centric, emphasizing how AI and robotics extend human capability rather than replace it.
Approach
Understanding the technology before designing the experience
The project began with a discovery session at Perceptyne’s research facility in Hyderabad. The Wings team spent a full day with engineers and researchers, observing the robotic systems, sensors, and development environment. Each team explained the technology behind the robotic arms, the sensors, and the machine intelligence that drives the system. This hands-on exposure helped the design team understand not only how the products functioned, but also the broader vision behind the company.
Back at the studio, the insights gathered during the discovery phase informed the structure of the platform — shaping the sitemap, narrative flow, and visual direction. The goal was to translate highly technical innovation into a digital experience that felt credible, futuristic, and human-centered.
Execution
A human-centric narrative for a complex robotics product
The platform was designed to communicate both the sophistication of the technology and the broader purpose behind it.
Visual storytelling and carefully selected imagery helped present the robots as tools designed to extend human capability rather than replace it. The narrative focused on how these systems support industries where work is dangerous, repetitive, or physically demanding.
Language played a crucial role in shaping this perception. The tone remained confident and forward-looking, positioning Perceptyne as a company contributing to the evolution of industrial automation.
The design system used restrained color palettes, structured layouts, and strong imagery to convey technical precision while maintaining clarity for a global audience.
Outcome
A platform that positioned the company within the global robotics conversation
The website provided Perceptyne with a credible digital presence as it introduced its robotics systems to the market. More than a product showcase, the platform established the company’s narrative, presenting it as part of a new generation of AI-driven robotics innovation emerging from India. For Wings, the project was an opportunity to work closely with a deep-tech team and translate complex engineering into a clear and confident digital experience.
“Wings didn’t just redesign our website; they reshaped how global buyers perceive us. Their team deeply understood our business and delivered a platform that’s both elegant and effective. We’ve seen stronger engagement, better feedback from partners, and now have a digital presence that truly reflects who we are.”
“Redesigning Shivam Jewels’ digital presence was a deep learning curve. We explored how to distill decades of trust and craftsmanship into a seamless, modern experience.
It taught us to strike the right balance between legacy and innovation; sharpening our B2B storytelling and design thinking in the process.”
